From South Africa, residing in Cape Town, two time Banzai Pipeline finalist (2010/2011), 2010 Rookie of the Year and in 8th place of IBA World´s Men Tour 2011.
Jared Houston is regarded as the nicest guy in the Tour, but despite of his kindness he is also one of the top and most fierce competitors. He is the future world champion of bodyboarding and Deluxe will be one of the key factors that will help him achieve this goal. Welcome, Jared!

Jose Otavio, the big wave rider will use the most advanced fins of the world.
Welcome Jose!
Jose Otavio is regarded as one the biggest charges in the history of South American bodyboarding. In recent weeks Jose was given the chance to represent Brazil in the Arica Chilean Challenge and has done amazing taking out world champions and world tour vets alike. With his new partnership with Deluxe fins Jose intends to return to Brazil with a new vigor for competition in good waves.
Not only is Jose an amazing talent, the first ever to complete a full rotation 720 aerial on video, but he is highly educated with a degree in engineering.
We at Deluxe are proud to have Jose on our global team and expect great things from him as the world tour re focuses on waves of consequence.

New signature riders, new colors!
Deluxe is the leader in Bodyboard and swim fins and we are announcing our newest partnership with four internationally recognized athletes.
A new rider will be announced each week as we head into the month of June. The first of which is to be announced May 27th.
We are at the forefront of fin design and our new mold is the most advance on the market. With our new team in place we intended to be the most dominant brand in swim fins and we will be constantly looking for ways to improve on our already advance fin mold.
New shape. New colors. New riders
Throughout the bodyboard history, there have been many tries in the pursuing of crafting the "perfect" fins. Some were good, some were bad. Anyway, they have always not worked fine. At Deluxe Fins we've put together all the "good ideas", very well accepted by the bodyboard industry up to date, and the result is extraordinary. A high performance fin with a very streamline design and a new unique drainage system that supplies the needs of the most demanding riders, from recreational riders to the elite proffesional bodyboarders.
However, we have not only stopped in the engineering. We've gone further and we have also given a lot of thought in the style. We have developed alongside our renowned riders a series of color combinations in order to not only wear a fin, but to wear it with style.
The new Deluxe VOL 2.0 features a new reinvented streamline design with a touch of glamour, thanks to their fashioned and timeless colorways. More info coming soon.
