From South Africa, residing in Cape Town, two time Banzai Pipeline finalist (2010/2011), 2010 Rookie of the Year and in 8th place of IBA World´s Men Tour 2011.

Jared Houston is regarded as the nicest guy in the Tour, but despite of his kindness he is also one of the top and most fierce competitors. He is the future world champion of bodyboarding and Deluxe will be one of the key factors that will help him achieve this goal. Welcome, Jared!

Rodrigo Rijo takes 2nd place in Open & 1st place at U-16 in USBA Championship

Rodrigo Rijo, a.k.a. "Rodry", 13 yrs old from Açores (Portugal) and member of the International Respect Crew, takes the 2nd place in the U-16 category of the USBA Championship, a surf & bodyboard contest with many categories and several contestants from other island.

He also won the U-16 category and took the 9th place in the DropKnee. Congratulations, Rodry. Good job!

New riders

Yone Armas & Guli Hernández, from Canary Island, will be riding for Respect this year. Both Yone and Guli belong to the Canary new generation, and they will for sure keep trying harder every day, just as they had done up to date. Don´t miss their resumes. They worth watching.

Jose Otavio, our brazilian big wave charger, was the first bodyboarder in the world recorded throwing a completely 720º Reverse Air. Always trying harder, he has never given up trying and developing radical and insane new manoeuvres, as the INVERT to BACKFLIP. Watch the video and get shocked!
